The Support Foundation of Her Majesty Queen Sirikiti is authorized by Her Majesty the Queen to set a permanent museum for Arts of the Kingdom Exhibition in Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall. The Support Foundation, then appointed Sahacha (1993) Co., Ltd. to design a new Arts of the Kingdom building in the same compound to facilitate tourist visiting the Museum which consisted of Ticket Counter, Souvenir Shop, Office and Rest Room.
The Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall is a Neo-Renaissance and Neo-Classic architectural style designed by Mario Tamagno, an Italian architect. The Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall is a Royal reception hall within Dusit Palace. It was commissioned the construction of a reception hall by King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) in 1908. The building was completed in 1915 during the reign of King Mongkut (Rama VI) with 8 years of construction.
Sahacha proposed a conservatory with steel structure building as the old European style which had a conservatory in the garden. Sahacha studied thoroughly the Throne Hall design of size, cornice, molding, pattern, etc. to design Architecture and Interior of the new Arts of the Kingdom building.
At present, the Arts of the Kingdom building serves a lot of Thai and foreigner visiting the Museum everyday.
